Why, why, why?

Why do aging celebrities think that looking like a skeleton with innertube lips is attractive?

And why do so many women think that having water balloons stuffed into their breasts is attractive?

Why do people think it's better to be expressionless with botox injections than to have laugh lines and crow's feet?

I might end up being one of the last of the completely natural women in the world. No implants anywhere, no artificially stretched skin, no shots of bacteria to paralyze my facial muscles. Sorry! If that's 'letting myself go' then I'm taking the trip of a lifetime.

Hollywood's view of "beauty" is so warped.

Melanie Griffith is a bit freakish. I hate botox, Linda Carter (wonder woman) was on the Law and Order series last week and her forehead NEVER MOVED. It is supposed to move with expression you know.

Woulndn't mind a little tummy tuck though! lol
Damn c-sections.

OMG, Horrifying! I have been saying all along how Melanie looks awful. I think the one that benefited the most was Joan Rivers! (smiling) Farrah, most of her problems has to do with drinking also!

As far as being natural, I made a mistake in 1988, since then I blame my Fibro on that. It has been debated for yrs, but most all women w/implants believe it to be true since 80% of us suffer from the leaking silcone that resulted in many illnesses. So far I have had to have 3 surgeries due to this mistake. I was young and did not realize it would affect the rest of my life.

I will be natural from now on except for the GRAY!!! (LOL)
I was posting right when you came over a few mins ago...sorry I missed U.

Kinda gives some insight into Hollywierd. It's as though the world of make-believe has blurred the boundaries into real life, so that you can't tell where one stops and the other begins.

Gives new meaning to the phrase "being able to look at oneself in the mirror." Bleah!

Word verification: nayobi...isn't that the name of some model?

It is pretty sad. I know it's all in the pursuit of eternal youth, but damn. Most of these women looked way hotter when they actually looked their age. Botox and facelifts with massive breast implants don't make you look younger, they make you look freakish. Faye Dunaway is a perfect example. She was aging very gracefully (in my opinion), then she got work done and looked like something that landed in a drunk farmer's cornfield. Brr.

I'm a man who likes natural women, wrinkles, grey hairs, extra pounds and all.

For whatever that's worth.

em, yeah, it really is. Who goes around telling people that they look good when they really look like crap?

kat, me too. If I ever did succumb to society's pressure I'd get the tummy tuck too.

suzie, in 1988, if I'd had the money I would have done that too.

dh, yeah, something like that. And that model is a real b*tch according to so many reports. I guess starving yourself puts in you a bad mood.

chris, it's worth a lot. And your wife is lucky.

madman, yeah, I don't think it says much for a man to be attracted to a woman who looks like a little boy with breast implants and collagen lips. Thanks on the Lyrics blog!
