Formerly known as "I'm a Hoe" but times and people change. It was a fun and productive metaphor that I enjoyed extending too far. Now it is done. The tool shed is retired, but the vicious momma is still here. I will be making adjustments to this blog as time allows.

Road Trip!!
I'm so pleased to announce that I am going (finally) on a road trip. I've wrangled David into going with me. We'll leave tomorrow for Bowling Green, KY, to the National Corvette Museum (link in header). I've also reserved us a tour of the Corvette Assembly Plant which is where all Corvettes are built. After all the car stuff I'm not sure where we'll go or what we'll do for the rest of the weekend. We like to explore new areas and see where the roads take us. I'm not planning to take a computer so I won't be blogging Friday-Sunday. But I'm sure I'll be full of stories when we get back. The weather might be a rainy over the weekend, but that won't bother us. If you see a red Corvette convertible on the road it might be us!

Take the vette to Mammoth Cave if you've never seen it.
Or for a longer winding road, take US 31-W south - from Bowling Green through Franklin, White House, Portland and finally wind up in near Nashville (Rivergate), then take 65S to downtown and spend some time on 2nd Avenue shopping....
Sounds like fun! I love all of the long rows of white fences in central Kentucky. The horse farms are gorgeous!
What year is your Corvette?
WELL, where am I gonna go if the hurricane comes?? (LOL)
Thrilled - sounds like you guys are going to have a blast. I can tell by your writing you are so excited. I can't wait to hear all the details. Just have a great time and don't worry about anything.
Happy Trails....Be Safe!
So happy for YOU!! (smiling)
anonymous, thanks! I already replied but somehow it didn't post. We have been to Mammoth Cave, but there are lots of other caves in the area that me might go see. That drive down to Nashville sounds nice. We might just do that! Thanks for the suggestions.
kristi, it's a 1998. I bought 10 rolls of film!
suzie, thanks! I am really excited to be getting away for a few days.
Have a great time! I love road trips! Take lots of pics.
madman, I'm so tempted to take my son's laptop. I know I'll be wishing I had by tomorrow night. I'm such a blog hoe.
mr g, thanks! I bought a bunch of film. It's probably going to rain, but I don't care.
We have been there, it is cool! Have fun!
