Cool old photo- did you add those gold tones?
Got lots of old photos like that...well, not quite like that; they have MY relatives in them.Very cool stuff! People were so proud to have their pix printed back then...used to print them as post cards so they could be mailed...very common in early 1900's.
I used to laugh at my mother for making sure all photos had names written on the back before my Grandfather passed. I now know it was important to be done,
My mother was like Madman's about my grandmother's photos not all got named though. I have a few old ones like that put up. I love them. Great photo....always enjoy seeing them.
sierrabella, yeah, I cropped it and added the color and watercolor effects. I can't just leave things alone. lolmr g, yeah, a lot the old ones I've got are made as post cards. Some were even sent through the mail with really cool old stamps.madman, most of them do have the names or at least the year on the back, but this one didn't. suzie, I love nostalgic stuff like this, snapshots from another time. These people are immortalized here even though we don't know who they are. They look happy though.
cool pic. my mom has been going through old pictures from her mom and cousin and trying to label what she could for me and my kids.
kat, that's really cool. I've had to ask my dad to help me label some too.
