Quick Notes

Ken Lay: He's dead. Don't go celebrating his life. I got really pissed at Fox and CNN for starting up with those retrospectives that tried to paint him as something other than the criminal he was. Sympathy to his family, but no empathy.

North Korea: When I woke up yesterday I had a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach that told me that they would do their missile tests late 7-4 for us and early 7-5 for them. I just knew it. But I didn't let it keep me from enjoying the most American of holidays. Our shin-dig was even bigger and better than last year's. More on that soon. These are quick notes because I'm still recovering from last night. ;-)

So Lubos back? or is he still bloggin long distance?

Need a few good topics, and his usual outright thrust and cut view on things to liven the place up

You know Rae, I couldn't say much yesterday. Little Old England doesn't quite know what to do about American Independence Day.
Should we laugh or should we cry?
lol! only kidding

Did ya all have a nice day?

The Brits are still moping after falling out of the world cup. It's like the country is in mourning

Its knocked the wind out of everyone's high spirits last week

Q, no, I think he's in Czechia until August. His lastest posts have lots of 'thrust'. lol Sorry to hear the mood over there is low. I think England should think of the US as its most successful child. ;-) Though I can concede that as a parent you aren't always happy with how your children behave. lol

Except for Blair, I think "children" here are not necessarily happy with how their "parent" is behaving.
