Ba Humbug

I'm sorry to report that I have no Christmas spirit this year. It has apparently been sucked into the same black hole that has absorbed my sense of humor and equilibrium. I hope that the universe on the other side is enjoying its newly acquired assets. Perhaps that is all it needed to invent life for itself. Well, I hope it enjoys it while it lasts, which probably won't be too long. Just ask the gorillas. ;-)

Everyone have a wonderful Christmas. I won't be around much, if at all. Sorry.

Did you know that holiday spirit can be digitized and sent over the internet? I'm packing you a shipment right now, I've got a bit to spare. Come one everbody, send Rae any extra fluff of spirit you have laying around and we'll fill her house with shining light.

Happy Holy Days, Rae Ann.

aww. I hate to hear that. I hope things get better for you. I've been going back and forth a lot lately myself.

You know how I feel Rae Ann. If you can keep the faith, all the better. If not, take whatever time you need to and we'll all understand. Godspeed.

do what I do: get the family out of the house for as big a block of time as you can manage, make yourself a huge adult beverage, watch your favorite movie (for me it's something like Immortal Beloved or The English Patient or Casablanca), get drunk and weepy, take a long nap.

Sounds like you need a good dose of wine and non-holiday movie festival. That or a damn fine book read in a tropical location. The wine and movie thing fits the budget better this time of year.

Ba humbug a great attitude. I have avoided anything to do with Christmas this year and guess what. No stress no BS and a great day without. I have never had a better or more enjoyable. Christmas. The only concessions were buying gifts for the grand kids.
TV's off No religous crap. Try it its wonderful.
