Dream On

(video is "Dream On" performed by Kelly Sweet)

Everytime that I look in the mirror
All these lines on my face gettin' clearer
The past is gone
It went by like dust to dawn
Isn't that the way
Everybody's got their dues in life to pay

Yeah, I know what nobody knows
Where it comes and where it goes
I know it's everybody's sin
You got to lose to know how to win

Half my life's in books' written pages
Live and learn from fools and from sages
You know it's true
All the things come back to you

Sing with me, sing for the years
Sing for the laughter, sing for the tears
Sing with me, if it's just for today
Maybe tomorrow the good lord will take you away

Dream on, dream on
Dream yourself a dream come true
Dream on, dream on
Dream until your dream come true
Dream on, dream on, dream on...

Sing with me, sing for the years
Sing for the laughter and sing for the tears
Sing with me, if it's just for today
Maybe tomorrow the good lord will take you away

"Dream On" by Aerosmith

Last night I had an eerie feeling, but I can't really elucidate it here for many reasons. Although I can't "prove" it or whatever I do know that our consciousness was a gift of Divine Infusion, an evolutionary and natural process that was helped along by the touch of some Divine Force.

Dream On in this life and Dream On in the next. Dream On until your dream comes true. Even if the only evidence of our lives is just a few electromagnetic traces here and there that might fade eventually into the vast void, I know it was real.

Thanks Rae Ann! That was totally poignant. I've never read the lyrics before, awesome.

Maybe that Divine Force is informed by the echoes of those fading electromagnetics from the last time the universe went around....

Thanks, Guy, I wasn't sure if anyone would get it. I'm feeling a lot misunderstood and misplaced today for some reason.
