It's Official...

Gas is now over $3 a gallon all over this area. That is more than a gallon of milk if you buy the brand that's on sale.

Un-freakin'-believeable!

madman, I filled up monday when it was still around $2.50. I'm not going anywhere unless it's absolutely necessary. The places around here with $2.99 will probably run out soon.

eatmisery, me too!

aliecat, yeah, you said it!

F-ing gas. One more reason why I. Hate. DRIVING. Ugh.

Up over $.60 a gallon in 1 week. Unbelieveable. Hate to say it, but I think these are prices we'll have to get used to for the long haul.

I live 20 miles from work, I get 28 miles to the gallon, it will cost me $21.42 every week to get to and from work. That's $1,114.28 a year if it doesn't go up from $3 a gallon. Imagine you work for minimum wage...

This is so messed up!!

We are not going anywhere we don't have to right now. Who could afford it?

chris, I wish there were more options for people like me who live out away from town. public transportation doesn't come out here.

dh, yeah, everything is going to get more expensive now.

ritmeyer, that's pretty bad. I wonder if you could car-pool with anyone?

kat, we aren't either. and if I have to go to the store I'm going in the corvette by myself because it gets good gas mileage (about 24 mpg).

Rae Ann -

None of my cars get gas mileage that good. Can I borrow your keys?

BTW, my word verification was :GDDRVR. ;-)

dh, yeah, we can work something out, but you'll have to come and get them. And I believe you about being a good driver! I was pretty amazed when I found out that it got such good mileage. You wouldn't think they would, but since they are so small and light I guess if you don't drive like a demon then your mileage is good.
